A conven\u00e7\u00e3o foi assinada em 1965, em Haia, na Holanda.<\/p>\n<p>Fonte | Ag\u00eancia Senado<\/p>\n<p>O texto da conven\u00e7\u00e3o busca estimular a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o entre os pa\u00edses signat\u00e1rios, por meio da implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de um mecanismo \u00e1gil e predeterminado. Tamb\u00e9m pretende garantir o direito de defesa do citado, intimado ou notificado perante a Justi\u00e7a do Estado de origem.
